尚福平，1955年生于济南。七十年代其作品曾入选华东地区书画展、黄河领域书画优秀作品巡展。篆书百龙图获文化部“庆香港回归十周年书画展”金奖，并被授予“中港文化使者”荣誉称号，作品获文化部颁发的“中国当代杰出创新人才”金鼎奖。作品入编《经典名家·艺术品企业收藏推荐精品集》、Nope《中国当代艺术收藏指南》、《中国国礼推荐与采购》、《光辉乐章》、《人民需要的艺术家》、《中国传世名作收藏与鉴赏》等书籍。曾任国务院《小康丰碑》艺术文献顾问，担任文化部、中国书画收藏家协会、大众文艺《共和国骄子》、《一代名师》、《艺术家风采》、《中国艺术名家》《艺术与价值》等文献丛书编委、艺术顾问。
