杨俊奎、四川省乐山市人，自幼酷愛书画，青年时师从著名画家李琼久老师和郭志全老师学习主攻山水，是首批嘉州画院成员，中国峨眉山松柏画院副院長、中国教育电视台《水墨丹青栏目》《名家讲堂》签约艺术家，美國国际中国书画研究会特聘顾问，市美协会员。自号半樵、守砚堂主人，对宋元山水画颇有造诣，擅长国画山水、花鳥。一九八八年山水作品《嘉州揽胜》参加中国教科文中心国画研究会组织的全国性展览中入选并收藏。
