王翠竹,1951年生,北京人。幼承家学,奢爱文史,痴迷丹青。曾师从王传莘学习工笔多年,后又跟王绍华学习写意花鸟,擅长梅花、牡丹、葡萄,潜心水墨牡丹的研究与创作,传统功力深厚。二十年痴心不改、默默耕耘,善于博采众长,勇于创新技法,坚持在意境、笔法和用墨上求突破,形成了水墨牡丹独特的个性画风,令业内瞩目。作品清秀高雅、气韵生动,多次参展参赛并获奖,数百幅作品在各种媒体发表,一些作品被国内外友人收藏。传承中华传统文化,热心参与文化交流和社会公益事业,被誉为“德艺双馨”艺术家。
Wang Cuizhu was born in Beijing in 1951. Young children learn from their families, love literature and history, and are obsessed with Danqing. He studied fine brushwork from Wang Chuanshen for many years, and then learned freehand flowers and birds from Wang Shaohua. He was good at plum blossom, peony and grape, and devoted himself to the research and creation of ink peony, with profound traditional skills.
