
牛芳茂,1941年2月,出生于河南省济源市,金铭轩主人,自幼受家世熏陶,与书画结下了不解之缘。师从中国著名诗人、书画家马萧萧先生,师法欧阳询,后学王羲之、孙过庭、张旭、王铎等。擅长楷书、行书、草书,尤其擅长榜书。现任中国企业报道艺术资本·理事会副主席·艺术顾问、中国民族艺术家协会终身名誉主席、中国书画学会副主席、中国书画艺术家协会副主席、中国书法艺术协会常务副主席、中国文化艺术协会副会长、中国文艺家联合会副主席、中国诗书画联盟网名誉主席、中国艺术人民网学术委员会联席主席、新华艺术网艺术委员会副主席、中澳文化交流协会副主席、香港特区文化艺术总会荣誉主席、华夏文艺出版社社长、中国艺术品投资交易市场上市书画家、天津国土资源和房屋职业学院聘牛芳茂为客座教授。国家民族画院特聘书法家。国务院中南海国礼艺术中心特聘国礼艺术家。中国国学学会名誉会长。
Niu Fangmao, born in Jiyuan City, Henan Province in February 1941, is the master of Jin Mingxuan. He was influenced by his family since childhood and formed an indissoluble bond with painting and calligraphy. He studied under Mr. Ma Xiaoxiao, a famous Chinese poet and painter, studied under Ou Yangxun, and later studied Wang Xizhi, Sun Guoting, Zhang Xu and Wang Duo. He is good at regular script, running script and cursive script, especially at second place. Currently, he is the vice chairman of the Chinese Enterprise Reporting Art Capital Council, art consultant, lifelong honorary chairman of the Chinese National Artists Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Society, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Art Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Culture and Art Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Literary Federation, honorary chairman of the Chinese Poetry and Painting Alliance Network, co-chairman of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Art People's Network, and vice chairman of the Art Committee of Xinhua Art Network. 书法作品除了有自愉、愉人的作用外,商品价值也是其重要的价值之一。如果作品只能自愉,那么书者应该处于爱好者的水准。如果作品能愉人,那么书者应该处于艺术家的水平。如果作品能上市流通,被人收藏升值,那么书者应该是到了书法名家大家的高度。著名书法家牛芳茂先生,其作品除自愉且能愉人外,还早已经上市流通,成为艺术品投资的重要标的物,有不可限量的升值空间,所以说牛芳茂并不是身处书界低端的爱好者,也并非身处中端的普通书法艺术家,而是身处书界顶端的书法艺术大师,名家。

牛茂芳行书,也是古学深厚,涵养巨丰。他先习王羲之,后习孙过庭、张旭、王铎,行书写得功力十足。看其作品《笃诚》两字,字体显肥,笃意十足,又方正不乱,诚意充盈。两字笔法精妙,行笔潇洒飘逸,笔势委婉含蓄,富有意境,两字书有如行云流水,禅意显于字形,文化满溢其中。更见二字结体遒美,骨格清秀,点画疏密相间,谓不可多得极富羲之行书神气的佳作。
看牛芳茂的行书,不但可识功底之深,又可识其笔法之劲,更能得其章法之妙。看其作品录毛泽东《重阳》,其书完全是心意之作,因功底深厚,所以能纵笔如驰,与羲之书兰亭一般,以心驱笔,以意泼墨,笔墨随心所欲,上飞天,下入海,天高任鸟飞,海阔凭鱼跃,心意之作,畅快淋漓,一气呵成。若是指尖没有操笔如意的功底,何来这般淋漓?看《重阳》识功底,功底却在顶尖上。看用笔,尺幅之内极尽用笔使锋之妙,无论横竖点撇钩折捺都活力四射,特别是笔画的弯绕折态,更显龙腾虎跃气势,依笔造势,可见笔力雄劲,无以复加。再看章法,《重阳》之书,气势贯通,势来不可止,势去不可遏,势成血脉,滋字字活现,章法之美,独具风采。

Two-character brushwork is exquisite, the style of writing is elegant, the style of writing is tactful and implicit, and it is full of artistic conception. The sky is high and the birds fly, while the sea is wide. His masterpiece of mind is dripping with ease. If fingertips don't have the skills to write well, how can they be so dripping wet? Look at "Chongyang" to know the basic skills, but the basic skills are at the top. Look at the pen, within the ruler's breadth, it's extremely wonderful to use the pen to make the front, and it's full of vitality regardless of the horizontal and vertical points, especially the bending and winding state of the strokes, which shows the momentum of the dragon and the tiger leaping, creating momentum according to the pen, which shows that the pen power is strong and hard to see. Looking at the composition, the book of Chongyang is full of momentum, coming to Fukashi, unstoppable, blood flowing, vivid, beautiful and unique. Both collectors and investors are willing to invest heavily to win Niu Fangmao's calligraphy works in the market, because they are moved by the "clear and handsome" style of his works. The vertical picture of "Shoukang" is written in three characters, with clear words.
