姚卫东,男,汉族,1940年生,湖北仙桃人,国家一级书法师。自幼酷爱文学艺术、诗、书、画等中国传统文化,创作的诗书作品在北京、江苏、安徽、湖南、香港等地参展并多次获金奖,被众多国内外朋友和单位收藏。现任中国将军文化艺术协会副秘书长、世界华人联合会联谊委员会理事长、联合国世界和平基金会慈善事业委员会主任、中华人民共和国文化部诗酒文化书画院高级艺术顾问、中国学盟荣誉理事长、东方白马书画院外联部副部长、中国长城将军书画院副院长等职。

Yao Weidong, male, Han nationality, born in 1940 in Xiantao, Hubei Province, is a national first-class calligrapher. Since childhood, he loved Chinese traditional culture such as literature, art, poetry, books and paintings. His poems and books have been exhibited in Beijing, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hunan and Hong Kong, and won many gold medals, and have been collected by many friends and units at home and abroad. He is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of China General Culture and Art Association, Chairman of Friendship Committee of World Chinese Federation, Director of Charity Committee of United Nations World Peace Foundation, Senior Art Consultant of Poetry and Wine Culture Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, Honorary Chairman of China Academic Union, Deputy Director of External Department of Oriental Baima Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and Vice President of General Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Great Wall of China.

1966年毕业于哈尔滨军事工程学院导弹工程系,航天部高级工程师,公安部中国人民警官大学教授,航天部工作期间曾获国防科工委科技进步奖,公安部工作期间曾派往国外考察,为建立中国防爆中心作出积极努力和成绩。在科研和教育战线辛勤工作几十年,退休后仍不辞劳苦,努力发挥余热,奋斗不息,在公益与文化教育等方面为社会做出了自己应有的贡献。曾参与国家教育部民办教育的工作,曾任民办高等教育顾问,曾举办中外合作办学英语培训学校,任中方主要负责人之一,为我国青少年英语水平的提升做出了自己的贡献。四川汶川大地震,在民族灾难面前为国出力、为民担忧。以联合国世界和平基金会的名义组织去灾区抗震救灾慰问团,在都江堰、彭州、崇州、大邑等地组织多场慰问演出,与灾区人民一起为重建美好家园而鼓劲出力。由于工作成绩突出,先后被授予“和平功勋奖”、“中国当代著名艺术家”、“重点推广市场价值书画家”等荣誉称号。

In 1966, he graduated from the Missile Engineering Department of Harbin Military Engineering Institute, a senior engineer of the Ministry of Space and a professor of the Chinese People's Police Officer University of the Ministry of Public Security. During his work in the Ministry of Space, he won the Science and Technology Progress Award of the National Science and Technology Commission for National Defense, while the Ministry of Public Security sent an inspection abroad to make active efforts and achievements for the establishment of China's explosion-proof center. After decades of hard work in scientific research and education, he still worked tirelessly after retirement, tried to give full play to the waste heat and struggled endlessly, and made his due contribution to society in public welfare, culture and education. He has participated in the work of private education of the Ministry of Education, served as a consultant of private higher education, held an English training school run by Chinese-foreign cooperation, and was one of the main leaders of Ren Zhongfang, making his own contribution to the improvement of Chinese teenagers' English level. The Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan contributed to the country and worried about the people in the face of national disasters. In the name of the United Nations World Peace Foundation, we organized a condolence group for earthquake relief in the disaster areas, and organized many condolence performances in Dujiangyan, Pengzhou, Chongzhou and Dayi, and worked together with the people in the disaster areas to encourage and contribute to the reconstruction of beautiful homes. Because of his outstanding achievements, he has been awarded the honorary titles of "Peace Meritorious Award", "Famous Contemporary Chinese Artist" and "Calligrapher who focuses on promoting market value".

姚卫东修炼书法,走正宗路,修中正技,临习碑帖是他书法修炼数十年坚持不辍的根源,然后投以热情和智慧,研究金石两篆,通写汉隶十碑,拓魏碑,临唐楷,先古技法,一并修成,融会贯通,精益求精,形成了自己独特的笔墨风格:诸书皆成,古风悠悠,法度森森,正大气象。

Yao Weidong cultivated calligraphy, took the authentic road, practiced the right skills, and studied the steles for decades. Then he devoted himself to enthusiasm and wisdom, studied the two seals of gold and stone, wrote the ten inscriptions of han li, expanded Wei Bei, faced Tang Kai, and first used ancient techniques, and made them complete, integrated and refined, forming his own unique pen and ink style: all books are complete, ancient style is long, legal degree is dense and fair.
