胡曾禹，生于1939年1月，笔名白云主人、黄河居人、华山墨翁，1962年毕业于山东艺专电影科（山东艺术学院前身），政府机关退休，中共党员，经济师，书法家。现为国际名人百科会员、中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会客座教授、中国民族艺术家协会终身名誉主席兼特邀顾问、中国中外名人文化研究会学术委员会会员、中国互联网艺术总鉴、中国书画家联谊会会员、中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体书画家工作委员会会员、中国楹联学会理事、省市级书法家协会会员、国际书法大典编委、山东金秋书画院副院长、黄河分院院长、济南白云书画社顾问、洛阳颜真卿书法研究会名誉会长、山东菏泽地区书画研究院名誉院长。

胡曾禹倾注毕生心血，致力于下一代的教育，为推动书法进校园，书法进课堂做出了卓越的贡献。书法艺术是最具代表性的中国文化符号之一，“书法进校园”活动具有十分重要的意义，必将在学校文化建设史上留下浓墨重彩的一笔。旨在传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化，提升国民汉字书写能力和文化素养，胡曾禹为社会做了很所多公益活动，义务为街头商店、药店、理发店等题写牌匾，为灾区捐款捐物，每年春节义务为社区街道书写春联并多次送文化下基层。胡曾禹先生还计划将建设一个最大的诗书画苑，全国的书画家能汇聚一堂共同为中华传统文化传承而奋斗。

Mr. Hu Zengyu also plans to build a largest garden of poetry, calligraphy and painting, so that calligraphers and painters from all over the country can gather together to fight for the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.

2013年应邀入编《盛世翰墨名家经典》（国礼卷），被原文化部艺术人才中心评为中国书法十大家。
